Researchers:

• Holger Billhardt. Doctor en Informática (UPM). Profesor Titular de Universidad.
  He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from the University of Leipzig (Germany), in 1993. Until 1997, he was working in the research department of the software company PROfit. Subsequently, he worked at the Artificial Intelligence Department of Technical University of Madrid, until 2001, when he joined University Rey Juan Carlos.
• Alberto Fernández. Doctor en Informática (URJC). Profesor Contratado Doctor.
  After receiving his MSc degree in Informatics from Technical University of Madrid, he was working at the Artificial Intelligence Department of that University. In the year 2000 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos.
• Ramón Hermoso. Doctor en Informática. Profesor Visitante
  He received his PhD in Computer Science from URJC in 2011. He has been collaborating with the group with different grants since 2002. He works as a visitant professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 2008.
• Marin Lujak. PhD in Management Engineering. Investigador Contratado.
  He obtained his degree as Mechanical Engineer with the specialization in Production Engineering at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. He received the Masters Degree in Management Engineering from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2007, and obtained his PhD degree in Management Engineering on the subject of multi-agent systems coordination and cooperation on the same University in 2010. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in February 2011. He is also a member of “The International Society of Applied Intelligence (ISAI)” and of “IEEE IES Technical Committee on Industrial Agents”.
• Sascha Ossowski. Doctor en Informática (UPM). Catedrático de Universidad.
  He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from the University of Oldenburg (Germany), in 1993. Subsequently, he worked as an HCM/TMR research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Department of Technical University of Madrid. In 1997, he joined University Rey Juan Carlos.
• Matteo Vasirani. Doctor en Informática (URJC).  Profesor Ayudante Doctor. 
  He received his MSc degree in Informatics from the University of Modena (Italy) in 2004 and his PhD in Computer Science from URJC in 2009. He is contributing as a researcher to different projects of the group since 2005 and he is teaching at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 2008.
• Zijie Cong. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado.
  He obtained his bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Finance and Trade (People's Republic of China) in 2008. He is currently a student of the Master of Information Technologies and Informatics Systems in URJC and joined the group in 2010.
• José Javier Durán. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado.
  He obtained his degree as Computer Engineer from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid en 2008, as the MSc in Computer Science and Technology in 2009. He has collaborated as researcher with the GIAA department of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in July 2009.
• Moser Fagundes. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado.
  He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) - Brazil, in 2007. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.
• Radu Mihailescu. Computer Science Engineer. Investigador Contratado
  He received his degree as Computer Science Engineer from “Politehnica” Univeristy of Timisoara (Romania) in 2009. Prior to graduation he was a visiting student at the National University of Singapore (NUS) research labs where he has conducted his final dissertation. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2009.
• Luis Peña. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado
  He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2005. Until 2008, he was working as an Informatics teacher in secondary education where he has participated in different CNICE teaching innovation projects of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.
• José Santiago Pérez. Ingeniero en Sistemas de Información. Investigador contratado.
  He received his degree as Information Systems Engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Resistencia (UTN-FRRe) - Argentina. He was working as an auxiliary professor in the Artificial Intelligence area and as a research fellow in GISIA, UTN-FRRe until 2007. He obtained the degree as Master of Information Technologies and Informatics Systems from URJC in 2009. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.
• Levan Uridia. Master in Mathematics. Investigador contratado.

  He received his Master degree in Mathematics in 2004 from Tbilisi State University (Georgia). In years 2004-2006 he was junior researcher at Tbilisi Cybernetics Institute (Georgia). In years 2006-2008 he was invited student at the Institute of Logic Language and Computation (UVA, ILLC) in Netherlands. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.

• David Pearce. D Phil (Sussex), Dr. Phil. Habil. (FU Berlin, Alemania). Colaborador Honorífico URJC.
  He received his MSc (Logic & Scientific Method) in 1976 and D. Phil (Logic & Scientific Method) in 1980 from University of Sussex (UK). He obtained his Habilitation in Philosophy in 1986 from Free University of Berlin (Germany). From 2003 to 2009 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos as a Ramon & Cajal senior reseracher. In 2009 he moved to Technical University of Madrid. His is still collaborating with the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC within the framework of the Agreement Technologies Consolider project.
• Axel Polleres. Doctor Technicae (TU Viena, Austria). Colaborador Honorífico URJC.
  He obtained his MSc degree in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology (Austria) in 2001 and finished his PhD at the same University in October 2003. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI) at the University of Innsbruck (Austria). In 2006 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos as a Juan de la Cierva research fellow. Since 2007 he is working at DERI Galway (Ireland), but is still collaborating with the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in various research projects.
• Viviane Torres da Silva. Doctora en Informática (PUC-Rio, Brasil).

  She obtained her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from PUC-Rio University (Brasil) in 1998, 2000, and 2004, respectively. In 2006 she took on a Juan de la Cierva research fellowship at Complutense University of Madrid, and moved to Universidade Federal Fluminente (Brazil) in 2008. She is collaborating with the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC since 2007 in the framework of the Agreement Technologies Consolider project.
• Oswaldo Vélez. Doctor en Informática (UPM).
  He received his MSc degree in Systems Engineering from Santander Industrial University (Colombia) in 1995. Subsequently, he was working in different software companies, until 2001, when he switched to Technical University of Madrid as an associate researcher. He worked as an assistant professor at URJC from 2004 to 2009. After fnishing is PhD in 2009, he moved to the Universidad del Sinu in Colombia, where he is currently the Director of the "Centre for Knowlewdge Management, New Technologies, and IT". He is collaborating with the Artificial Intelligence Group in the framework of the Agreement Technologies Consolider project.
• Roberto Centeno. Ingeniero Informático.
  He has been collaborating with the group with different grants since 2004. He is currently holding a research training scholarship of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
• Rubén Ortiz Martín. Ingeniero Informático.
  He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2000. Since then, he has been contributing in many of the group's research projects. 
• Analay Baltá Camejo. Ingeniera Informática (UC-Cuba). 
  She received the degree as Informatics Engineer from the Universidad de Camagüey, Cuba (UC) in 2006. She obtained the degree as Technical Engineer in Management Informatics from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Albacete (UCLM), Spain and the degree as Master of Information Technologies and Informatics Systems from URJC in 2009. She joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2009.
• Jesús Contreras. Doctor en Informática (UPM). 
  He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees from the Technical University of Madrid in 1998 and 2004, respectively. Since 2000 he is a director of innovation in the R&D departament of iSOCO. In 2007 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos as a part-time lecturer.
• Ingo Galleske. Doctor en Informática (UPM)
  He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany), in 1994. Subsequently he has been working for different software companies and collaborating with academia, and in particular with  Technical University of Madrid, where he obtained his PhD degree in 2004. In 2006 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos as a part-time lecturer.
