He received his MSc degree in Systems Engineering from
Santander Industrial University (Colombia) in 1995. Subsequently, he was working in different software companies, until 2001, when he switched to
Technical University of Madrid as an associate researcher. He worked as an assistant professor at URJC from 2004 to 2009. After fnishing is PhD in 2009, he moved to the Universidad del Sinu in Colombia, where he is currently the Director of the "Centre for Knowlewdge Management, New Technologies, and IT". He is collaborating with the
Artificial Intelligence Group in the framework of the
Agreement Technologies Consolider project.
