  • Holger Billhardt. Doctor en Informática (UPM). Profesor Titular de Universidad.
    He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from the University of Leipzig (Germany), in 1993. Until 1997, he was working in the research department of the software company PROfit. Subsequently, he worked at the Artificial Intelligence Department of Technical University of Madrid, until 2001, when he joined University Rey Juan Carlos.
  • Jesús Contreras. Doctor en Informática (UPM). Profesor Asociado.
    He obtained his MSc and PhD degrees from the Technical University of Madrid in 1998 and 2004, respectively. Since 2000 he is a director of innovation in the R&D departament of iSOCO. In 2007 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos as a part-time lecturer.
  • Alberto Fernández. Doctor en Informática (URJC). Profesor Contratado Doctor.
    After receiving his MSc degree in Informatics from Technical University of Madrid, he was working at the Artificial Intelligence Department of that University. In the year 2000 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos.
  • Ingo Galleske. Doctor en Informática (UPM). Profesor Asociado.
    He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Braunschweig (Germany), in 1994. Subsequently he has been working for different software companies and collaborating with academia, and in particular with  Technical University of Madrid, where he obtained his PhD degree in 2004. In 2006 he joined University Rey Juan Carlos as a part-time lecturer.
  • Sascha Ossowski. Doctor en Informática (UPM). Catedrático de Universidad.
    He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from the University of Oldenburg (Germany), in 1993. Subsequently, he worked as an HCM/TMR research fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Department of Technical University of Madrid. In 1997, he joined University Rey Juan Carlos.
  • Ramón Hermoso. Ingeniero Informático. Profesor Visitante.
    He has been collaborating with the group with different grants since 2002. He works as a visitant professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 2008.
  • Matteo Vasirani Doctor en Informática (URJC).  Profesor Visitante. 
    He received his MSc degree in Informatics from the University of Modena (Italy) in 2004 and his PhD in Computer Science from URJC in 2009. He is contributing as a researcher to different projects of the group since 2005, and is acting as visitant professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos since 2008.
  • Rubén Ortiz. Ingeniero Informático. Profesor Ayudante.
    He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC back in 2000. Since then, he has been contributing in many of the group's research projects. 
  • Analay Baltá Camejo. Ingeniera Informática. Investigadora Contratada.
    She received the degree as Informatics Engineer from the Universidad de Camagüey, Cuba (UC) in 2006. She obtained the degree as Technical Engineer in Management Informatics from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Albacete (UCLM), Spain and the degree as Master of Information Technologies and Informatics Systems from URJC in 2009. She joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2009.
  • Roberto Centeno. Ingeniero Informático. Contratado FPI.
    He has been collaborating with the group with different grants since 2004. He is currently holding a research training scholarship of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
  • José Javier Durán. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado.
    He obtained his degree as Computer Engineer from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid en 2008, as the MSc in Computer Science and Technology in 2009. He has collaborated as researcher with the GIAA department of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in July 2009.
  • Moser Fagundes. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado.
    He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) - Brazil, in 2007. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.
  • Radu Mihailescu. Computer Science Engineer. Investigador Contratado.
    He received his degree as Computer Science Engineer from “Politehnica” Univeristy of Timisoara (Romania) in 2009. Prior to graduation he was a visiting student at the National University of Singapore (NUS) research labs where he has conducted his final dissertation. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2009.
  • Luis Peña. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador Contratado.
    He obtained his MSc degree in Informatics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2005. Until 2008, he was working as an Informatics teacher in secondary education where he has participated in different CNICE teaching innovation projects of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.
  • José Santiago Pérez. Ingeniero en Sistemas de Información. Investigador contratado.
    He received his degree as Information Systems Engineer from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Resistencia (UTN-FRRe) - Argentina, in 2002. He was working as an auxiliary professor in the Artificial Intelligence area and as a research fellow in GISIA, UTN-FRRe until 2007. He obtained the degree as Master of Information Technologies and Informatics Systems from URJC in 2009. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in 2008.
  • Carlos A. Soto Barrera. Ingeniero Informático. Investigador contratado.
    He obtained his degree in Computer Systems Engineering at the Technological Institute of Hermosillo, México (ITH) in 2006. He has been working in different companies until 2009. He is currently a student of the Master of Information Technologies and Informatics Systems in URJC and is collaborating with the group since October 2009.
  • Levan Uridia. Master in Mathematics. Investigador contratado.
    He received his Master degree in Mathematics in 2004 from Tbilisi State University (Georgia). In years 2004-2006 he was junior researcher at Tbilisi Cybernetics Institute (Georgia). In years 2006-2008 he was invited student at the Institute of Logic Language and Computation (UVA, ILLC) in Netherlands. He joined the Artificial Intelligence Group at URJC in December 2008.
