The Artificial Intelligence research group at URJC is dedicated to the study of foundations and applications of AI. Its main objective is to develop the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to enable the successful design, development, and evaluation of explainable and trustworthy Artificial Intelligence solutions, especially in the context of large-scale open distributed systems.

The group’s activities in the fields of R&D&I are carried out within the framework of the Centre for Intelligent Information Technologies (CETINIA) of University Rey Juan Carlos. These are reflected by the following active projects:
